welcome, coordinator.

The Richitev Contest Hall is often considered to be the hardest. While some claim that all three halls are equal in skill levels, those who have watched the system their whole lives simply know better. You come to Richitev to win fortune and fame; to prove to the world that you are better than them.
The first impression of the building when one walks up to it is money. Lots of it. Made from sparkling glass that reflects the lush garden they have carved out in the center of a large city the space around it is truly impressive. Any who come have a completely unobstructed view of the sky, setting the theme for the stage itself. The polished, glistening black glass center of the Hall sits below the perfectly designed retracting roof so that contenders may stand beneath the stars to show just how worthy they are of the title they yearn for.
While one could argue that each Hall has enough fame to hire their own commentator, it was universally agreed that Miss Hanae Oshiro is the best the business has to offer, and any show she's presenting at often pushes up the volume and the shows are absolutely spectacular to behold. Along with her Floette - a lovely blue-petaled creature - Flora, the two of them spread the joy for Contests to both specters and participants alike.
If one wishes to enter a contest, they may simply ask to join one with themselves, and non-playable characters, or by gathering a few characters to enter with. Either way, a simple request will bring Miss Hanae, ready to narrate the event and pin the prize the judge has awarded to the winner.

As a Coordinator, the goal always is, and always will be, to make it to the final round. To hold in their hand the Cyal Ribbon, and declare themselves the best. Of course, the steps for reaching the best aren't always going to be easy.
Beginning coordinators will be given a chance to earn the Bronze Ribbon in any of the three Halls. Once they have earned a Bronze, they can then move up to Silver, and finally Gold, for said contest hall. However, to earn the right of passage to enter the Cyal Contest (held in the lofted halls of Richitev, though it isn't to be confused with the Richitev Contest) they must have earned at minimum, two gold Ribbons from any of the three Halls.
At the Richitev Hall, Coordinators compete against one another first in performance, where they show off the beauty of their Pokemon's moves, and then battle, where they compete against one another while attempting to show how elegant a Pokemon battle can truly be. Those who win will walk home with a shining blue ribbon, to denote their championship over Richitev Hall.
