The skies were lovely that evening, with the soft moonlight shining down on the empty park near the edge of Chrysor Town. Stars were even fighting to be seen through the light pollution, and it put Jezebel at ease. She sat on a bench, staring up into the sky with a blank expression. Even if the sky here showed some of its true beauty, she would never grow accustomed to not seeing a full sky of stars, turning the world a lovely shade of silver, instead of the harsh yellow lights of street lamps.
The knees of her jeans, her hands and her face were dusted with dirt, showing the hard work she had been putting in that afternoon. She had spent the entire day tending to an overgrown and poorly used community garden that was in clear need of some tender love and care, all the while Aisley had run around like a maniac, while Ama watched over him and herded him back if he ventured too far. Now Cayley was on duty, flying after the young Skiddo as he pranced around in the twillight.
"Well Ama," She sighed while running her hand through her Sylveon's luxurious white fur as she laid with her head on her trainer's lap, "What do you think? Did we salvage it?"
She had been surprised when a city council had requested her services revitalizing the small park, and she couldn't help but wonder if this was just one of the ways the government still kept tabs on her as a part of the assimilation project.
Before she could think much on it, she was disturbed by a loud screeching she recognized as Cayley, and Aisley can running to her feet, eyes wide with fear. She went running over toward the sound, Ama and Aisley hot at her heels. She saw the flurry of feathers before she noticed the person behind them. "Cay! What's going on?!" She called, and the large Pidgeotto suddenly backed off from his assault, putting himself firmly between her and whoever had upset him, "I'm sorry! He's not usually like this!"
That wasn't true at all. He was a rather unruly bird at the best of times, and if someone had tried to pet Aisley then all Hell would break loose, like it always did.

A sigh left Milo as he removed his glasses and rubbed his eyes. The man didn't get to have much sleep last night, having run around to several jobs the previous day and even more today. Perhaps he was overtaxing himself? There was a strong chance of that. Though there was nothing he could do about it, he had to go about life as normal. That meant several odd jobs and being able to enjoy a few things in life. Course he'd get to enjoy his mons every day of his life. Sentry was leading the way, being rather on guard due to the city being a new one.
"COme back here Sentry, you're going too far ahead." Milo called.
Still Sentry didn't listen and Milo sighed, shaking his head. Picking up his pace, he went after the normal type. Sentry's ears twitched as they glanced about though they noticed another mon. Sentry made a sound and it seemed to anger the bird type. Course Milo had grabbed em not noticing the bird type till there was a sudden screech and the next thing he knew, a pidgetto was coming at him!! Seeing nothing he could do, he held onto Sentry with one arm and tried to use the other for defense. Sentry made several sounds trying to get out of his master's arm to try and defend em.
By time someone arrived to calm the bird, the sleeve of Milo's shirt was torn and his glasses had been knocked off. Fawn had just caught up with her human was well and was shocked to see her master seeming in a bad state. Her ears twitched and she tilted her head before noticing the large glasses on the ground. She couldn't pick em up due to having hooves though Sentry was able to break free and collect Milo's glasses.
"It's okay, I didn't know that's what had Sentry's attention." Milo said as he took his glasses from the furret. "I'm sorry we got your friend there unhappy."

Jezebel was mortified when she saw the damage done to the young man, and a gasp escaped from her. She pulled out a scuffed red pokeball, something she rarely used, and called back the rowdy bird. "It's just until you calm down Cay," She promised quietly, though that didn't alleviated the guilt that started to form deep in her chest, "I'm so sorry. I swear Cay was a Fearow in a past life." She ran over to him, copper-red eyes even larger than usual. Ama ran up at her side, and Aisley sidled up behind her, still shivering slightly. Caylay had a bad habit of frightening the young grass type. Ama trilled lightly at the Furret in a tone that Jez had learned to recognize as apologetic. "Did he hurt you or your Furret?" She asked nervously, eyeing his arm nervously, "I hope he didn't scare the poor thing too much..." Aisley peaked out from behind her, and curiously began to approach the adorable Deerling. Jez suddenly realized that this was the closest thing the young Pokemon had seen to his own kind since leaving his mother's side. It was sweet, in a way, since despite his playful and happy-go-lucky nature, he has always been quite shy around strangers.

"I'm alright, I can replace clothes. You okay Sentry?" Milo asked as he glanced down to the furret.
The normal type nodded, they were okay. A bit displeased with the bird that they had just encountered but they were okay. With that, Milo looked back at the woman and nodded. His sleeve was torn up and shreaded in a few spots but other than that it was fine. He had more pairs of the same one at home and besides the shirt was cheap as it was. Good enough to have on to cover himself from the waist up. So no lose of money either.
"He's alright. No harm done." Milo added. "Sentry's not the scared type, he's a silly ball of fluff so it would take something worse than a jump like that to spook him to my knowledge."
Fawn's ears twitched as she noticed the other grass type, well this was a welcome sight. She did hear the chaos that was going on while she was trying to catch up and she feared that the bird was still around. So it was a relief to see that it wasn't. The skiddo was a nice sight, she too hadn't seen many pokemon like herself. What herd she had wouldn't noticed her having been captured and honestly it wasn't that great of a herd. Maybe this would be different? A smile was on the normal grass type's face before she bounced about around the male pokemon in a playful gesture. Milo noticed and smiled.
"Looks like Fawn's found a new play mate." Milo said with a smile. "I'm Milo Adderson."
He held out his hand to Jez to shake though it was the one with the torn up sleeve; he hadn't paid attention to which hand he was using.

"Jezebel," She replied, her tone still filled to the brim with guilt as she shook his hand, "Jezebel Roseau." As she spoke, she watched Aesley leap back, and then forward playfully. The small grass type leaped around, glad for an agreeable playmate about his age. Jez giggled as she watched, and Ama trilled, likely expressing a similar sentiment. "It'd be good for Aisley to have someone more willing to play with him," She admitted, "Ama and Cay love the little guy, but they are both a little bit older and past the more playful stages." She shifted awkwardly and rubbed the back of her head, she had just realized how dirty her hands were. Quickly wiping them off on her pants, she reached into her bag a grab a small box of wet wipes. "Sorry, I've been working in the gardens here all day and haven't had a chance to wash my hands yet," She explained, offering up the open box.

"Pleasure to meet you Miss Roseau." Milo greeted. "Oh...or should I call you Jezebel?"
Seeing Fawn having fun was a nice thing, she was a young pokemon who still needed play. Course Sentry would always play with her yet it probably wasn't the same to the grass type. Well there was a way to fix that. HE could get another pokemon! Granted not a easy feat but one that would work eventually. Course the skiddo seemed keen on playing and that made Milo happy.
"Same here, Sentry's older than her but he'll play with her. She just doesn't find it as fun I guess." Milo added. "That's fine, I've gotten my hands dirty plenty of times so getting a bit more dirt on em won't really matter. Thanks."
Accepting one of the wipes, he used one and held onto it. Just until he found a trashcan to put it into. Fawn was happy to see the grass type want to play, so she circled em in glee before gently bumping into em and initiating a game of tag. In which she took off rather quickly.
