DID I MENTION WE WERE FLAILING WHEN THE ANGELS CAME AROUND
APPEARANCE The noticeable features on Roderick are his round face, cut brow, and scar under his left eye, hidden by a small piece of athletic tape, his consistent smug smile, wide eyes that beam open for long periods of times, meaning he will often win staring competitions. He also has a gyrados painted across his upper forearm. During his farming days, Roderick was forced to develop a significant amount of muscle through manual labor, lifting hay bales, feeding Gogoats and Milktanks. Jogging through the farm’s vast fields kept him fit, however he wasn’t all muscle. His muscles were outlined in his arms, calves, and thighs, showing visible muscle definition in those lower regions. His body itself is lightly tanned, not only on his legs but also running down his face and down his neck with a visible tan line where underneath his tan faded and he became paler. | PERSONALITY CJ can be summed up in a few words, unpredictable, eager, immature, mischievous and outspoken. These traits are due to his raising on a ranch. To his family, he's seen as overly enthusiastic and energetic, but to a stranger, he can come off as pushy and arrogant though he is very easily mortified and will apologize for the tiniest of things. Despite his outspoken, and strong attitude there are times when he can’t quite comprehend a dangerous situation from a casual one. Young CJ has only four main interest, Food, Girls, Pokemon, and a good nap; if he could find a girl that could cook, and battle he’d be set for life! Or that, at least, that's what he thinks. CJ isn’t above using his Pokémon to cheat in games such as billiards, bowling and even go fish. CJ's mother if asked would describe him as "careless". CJ also tends to lie or exaggerate at times, in a bid to make himself seem more impressive, sometimes showing off to sell how highly he thinks of himself. He also exhibits a one-track mind, often hounding pretty girls, but would more likely than not, not recognize a member of the elite four or any other celebrity that wasn’t female. Many other things can describe CJ one of which being his work ethic; despite his love of napping, back home CJ would work harder than anyone else on the farm He likes to keep busy until he feels like he has earned a good siesta. When it comes to making decisions, CJ is is a man of his own, Tauros (Bull) headed to a T, he can’t be told differently no matter what he sees or hears. While he does his best to be empathetic, he's stern in his decisions, if someone doesn't like his choice he wouldn't mind hearing them out, but in the end, he'll more than likely listen to himself over them. At a young age CJ was practically forced into a fascination of Pokémon; growing up on in a house and farm full of Pokemon he grew to love them slowly, but gradually. To CJ Pokemon can be wonderful friends and allies but they aren’t aren't as innocent as they're portrayed, they are creatures capable of great levels of destruction and needed to be respected, but Pokemon also need to be punished to the fullest extent when they're unruly. What motivates him to wake up every morning is his drive, something to him that is stronger than the fear of death itself, it’s his will to win. He hides a deep competitive drive in the base of his psyche. His parents may not have been around all that much, but his older siblings managed to instill a strong moral fiber inside of CJ teaching him the differences between right and wrong and good and evil. One of the keys to CJ's personality is his craving to see the world or more specifically the big cities of Godai. He imagines city life as a vibrant, magical thing, people and Pokemon just waiting to meet him, exotic foods for him to try, women just waiting to meet him and he couldn’t wait to meet them. He has only a few fears in this life; them being a fear of needles, a fear of rejection, and psychic type Pokemon. CJ draws his fear of Physic type Pokemon, from a general dislike of them. The way they could manipulate people and other pokemon was enough to turn CJ from them all good and bad. One specifically he couldn’t stand was Hypno, he HATED the Pokemon Hypno, it’s expression the yellow of it’s skin, even the way it walked made his skin crawl. It was the hypnotization Pokemon meaning it manipulated people by nature, nothing was more despicable. On the outside he may despise them but on the inside he fears them, refusing to battle them out of fear that they may control the minds of him or his Pokemon. |

[PTab=BIOGRAPHY]
AND THEY JUST SAT THERE THEY WERE WAITING FOR THE FIRST OF US TO DROWN
BACKGROUND His father owned one of the larger farms in Chrysor Town while his mother was a Pokemon breeder keeping all of her Pokemon in their home. The Pierre family lives on the edge of Chrysor town on a strip of area consisting of 28 acres of land, and in the center rest a large white farmhouse that lies a few yards from the barn of the property. As a youngster, CJ was home schooled by the oldest of his sisters. His second to eldest sister Tabatha would often take CJ with her wherever she went, this led to CJ's inevitable exposure to girls at this stage in his life. The smells of their perfume, the softness of their skin, the curvy figures, to young CJ women were perfect beings. When he became of age, CJ attended a small intermediate school in town. CJ was a B-C student in school and managed to balance his class work and his new found profession; the wonderful sport of baseball. CJ loved baseball, playing as a pitching hitter for his school. As he progressed in intermediate school, CJ blossomed, from a mere child into a skirt chasing, energetic teenager. As a teen CJ fully adjusted to his parent's favoritism towards Alicia. His jealousy would dissipate as he continually did well in school; that is until Alicia's 12th birthday when she received her very first Pokemon; a tiny little Bunnary CJ, on the other hand, had turned 15 a few months prior, and his parents barely gave him a second glance let alone a Pokemon. CJ loved his younger sister, but he couldn't STAND her Buneary, it was a distraction on the farm often spooking the Gogoat or randomly dizzy punching CJ, that fuzzball was a menace. It wasn’t fair, SHE got a Pokemon when she got old enough, but when he came of age to get his trainer license his father told him “why would you want to be a trainer? You have a whole farm of Pokemon that counted on you.” even though he had two old brothers that WANTED to live on the farm. Heading into secondary school, CJ's interest in Pokemon grew farther as he learned more about them, he had taken an interest in powerhouse Pokemon, Ground, Steel, Fighting, and Rock, with a light spot for water types, and a few additional individual Pokemon. In the summer, he would take Pokemon based courses and during the regular school year, he would proceed to learn in his general classes. Unlike most teens his age, he didn't exactly rebel against his parents. Instead, he channeled his frustrations into his craft of baseball; receiving a walk-on tryout from a small school just outside of town. Without hesitation, he declined and opted to receive his trainer's license with some extra tutoring from his siblings. After finishing up high school and graduating, CJ had a huge decision to make; become a trainer, or stay on the farm. His brothers opted to remain on the ranch, three of his four sisters, on the other hand, decided to move out and live their lives independently throughout Godai, his younger sister however still lived at home, not as a farm hand but she was too lazy to start her journey. He struggled with the decision for a while; that is until his mother of all people spurred CJ into becoming a trainer/ breeder by giving him a 'special' present on his nineteenth birthday; she had given him a large blue box and told him to open it. His mother dropped a hint that she had seen the magazines under CJ's bed and that he would LOVE this gift. Not thinking he opened the box, but instead of finding more magazines she had given him a Pokemon this was when CJ realized that she was talking about the books on dark types Pokemon he had forgotten to return to the school library and not his... Erm... Private collection. After an awkward introduction, CJ and his Pokemon bonded through a bit of a staring contest, it’s smug smirk reminded him of his own making the two bond even more. The Pancham had a small note under it’s feet It was from his parents; the note explained that they were always proud of him and that they support whatever he chooses to do in life. Two things had become apparent to CJ; his parents did care about him and that he had been wasting his time being Jealous of his little sister. He knew what he wanted to do now; he was going to become a world renowned Pokemon breeder like his mother. | POKEMON If your character has pokemon, this is where you should list the pokemon that they have. If they are part of a tribe and currently have a companion, that can be listed here as well. Because this is a non-leveling site, you do not need to list specific numbers, but because Pokemon learn different moves at different periods of time, levels can be used as a form of reference. Bag space can also be here to show what your character already has in their bag as well. |
